Judy Hardy is course organiser for a second year undergraduate course in Physics, Computer Simulation. This course has an extensive collection of online course material including detailed lecture notes, downloadable code examples and formative self-tests. She has an active research interest in the tools, techniques and pedagogy of e-learning and has been involved in a range of e-learning projects for a number of years. Recently this has included two projects funded by the Principal's e-Learning Fund, e-Learning Tracking and STEER which were concerned with tracking and evaluating students' use of e-learning material. Judy currently leads a JISC-funded project LEaD, which aims to investigate the impact of learning technologies on students' transition to University and how this changes they progress through their first year.

David McKain is an e-Learning developer in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Edinburgh. Coming from both mathematical and technical backgrounds, he is particularly interested in the challenges of communicating mathematics on the web, as well as general web development, pedagogy and social networking. David is currently involved in a number of development projects including Aardvark, the School of Physics and Astronomy' system for authoring and managing single-sourced multiple output media learning objects which powers a number of flagship undergraduate courses. Other current and recent projects include DUMP, our online repository of formative self test questions and COSMaP, a cross-School collaboration formed to tackle the so-called "Maths Problem", as well as other more general e-Learning and web projects in the University.

Keith Brunton is an e-learning developer in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Edinburgh. Over the past 5 years he has been lead developer on a number of successful school and college-wide e-learning and e-administration projects including a Podcasting tool project and a tool for signing up students to workshops/tutorials/projects. He was a developer on the COSMaP Project, a cross-School collaboration aimed at improving core maths skills by flavouring the interactive material according to students' degree interests. He is currently lead developer on the JISC-funded EVAF4All project to create an online system to manage and provide feedback on clicker questions to both students and staff. He is a member of the university's e-Learning Professionals and Practitioners Committee.
