The Friends of KB Music are a group of people who wish to bring professional standard musical concerts to KB. We are arranging free Wednesday lunchtime concerts in the Glass Arcade of the Scottish Agricultural College and hope for a large audience to enjoy these concerts.
All concerts are held from 1.05 to 1.55 p.m. in the Glass Arcade, Scottish Agricultural College, The King's Buildings. The concert programme is supported by the College of Science and Engineering, the Scottish Agricultural College, and annual subscriptions from "Friends" of Music in KB.
The attendance at these concerts is free, especially to attract students, but as we aim to attract good performers many of these concerts cost a substantial amount of money. While the College of Science and Engineering in particular gives us substantial support, we do rely absolutely on Friends' subscriptions to balance the books. The annual subscription of £12 continues to represent excellent value, well worth it for just a fraction of the whole programme, and you are very strongly encouraged to subscribe, if you have not already done so, to become a Friend of KB Music for the current year 2005-2006.
