Information for Postgraduate Students

Training Courses

• As part of SUPA there is a new graduate school. There are a large number of courses available.
• At IfP there are many courses available which can be chosen to help consolidate knowledge in physics and also in java programming (beginning to advanced).
• Organised by NeSC there are a variety of EGEE funded training events available. Many of the upcoming future workshops/meetings are hosted by NeSC.
• At EPCC there is the HPC MSc programme which contains Grid training modules of interest (course handbook). Other short, but intensive, courses may be announced later.

Seminar program

• We have put together a new comprehensive program of seminars. We will try to invite a variety of speakers. If there is a research area someone would like to know more about please let us know.
