From mid september to mid october 1996 we were touring through East Africa. On various occasions (and under quite varying conditions) we performed sacred and profane music from Europe and Africa. Especially by the music workshop taking place in the college of Namasagali in Uganda (Oh Uganda -630kB- TEST-SOUND-27kB-) we closely experienced Africa and its people.

Namasagali in Uganda has been the first stop on our tour. We found a cozy housing directly on the shores of the Nile.

The last part of road to this place had suffered a little during the rainy season so we could not pass at full speed. In addition to the suggestions given to the bus driver we gave him a little hand.

In the harbour town of Massawa (Eritrea) at the Red Sea one experiences quite a special atmosphere.
