From may 28th to june 4th 1997 the Camerata vocalis Tübingen was
travelling to the Czech Republic to participate in the
Janackuv Maj (Janacek festival),
the 22nd International Music Festival in Ostrava.
After the choir had spent some days at Vilémov near Olomouc, we travelled onwards to Ostrava. Here Mr Sumski had joint rehearsals with the soloists, the choir and the Chamber Orchestra of Ostrava University.
In the concert in the Evangelic Church in the evening of june 3rd we performed music of composers from Upper Swabian Monasteries.
