Scanning Electron Microscope Pictures of AB13 Cubic Binary Crystals.

For a size ratios between 0.57 and 0.485 I found a binary with a AB₁₃ cubic structure similar to that seen in the atomic compound NaZn₁₃.

The images below were taken from samples containing particles with radii 213.6nm and 116.7nm and hence have a size ratio of 0.5463. This binary structure normally does not survive upon drying of the crystal soution and the image below was obtained usinga cryo-SEM procedure.
