Scanning Electron Microscope Pictures of AB2
Hexagonal Binary Crystals.

university crest

For a size ratios between 0.57 and 0.4267 I found a binary with a AB2 hexagonal structure similar to that seen in the atomic compound AlB2.

The images below were taken from samples containing particles with radii 324.7nm and 138.5nm and hence have a size ratio of 0.4267. This is the lowest size ratio at which this particular binary structure has been seen.
