determined.

Question- is there any value in simply testing the high energy 
implantation behaviour of the ASIC standalone (without MBS data or beam 
tracking)

Yes. This will would provide the first opportunity to examine the 
perofrmance and recovery of instrumentation to high-energy/heavy-ion
implants. Correlation with FRS detectors is desireable.
