Enzymatic reactions on solid surfaces

It has been established that enzymatic reactions are successful carried out on glass surfaces. The reacted surfaces were tagged and studied by flourescence. However due to the monolayer (fluorescence intensity) fluorescence are difficult to quantify. Therefore, we would like to use the multiphoton to investigate the same process on polymer beads. Preliminary experiments suggest that the multiphoton is suitable to investigate flourescence in these beads modified by enzymes and tagged with a fluorophore.
